Connect DVR cable box to Pc?

I have a comcast cable box that has a usb port,
I was wondering if i could record a channel and then somehow get it to go on my computer, and what was else can i do with this usb port in terms of connection with my computer.

You might be able to share pictures on your computer hard drive through the cable box to the TV. You aren't going to be able to record content via the usb however.
